When might I need counseling?

While human beings are resilient and creative, there are times when we don’t have all the answers. During those times, few if any of our own efforts work and we feel stuck in life, with God, and with those closest to us. Sometimes we feel depressed, overwhelmed, or hopeless. At other times, we’re just really angry. Sometimes we know what’s not working in life and why we feel the way we do; sometimes we may have no idea what’s wrong. That can be a good place to be when it leads us to get help. All religions and cultures of the world understand that it is normal for life to be tough and that at times we need someone to help us get through it. Counseling is a courageous and hopeful step to make your life more of what you want it to be.
